Use a dedicated sintered-surface blade with a thin kerf, hard bond and reinforced or silent core, run wet at the blade's rated RPM. Sintered surfaces like Dekton are extremely hard and non-abrasive, so a general stone blade will glaze and overheat.
| Feature | Why It Matters |
|---|---|
| Thin kerf | Less waste, less heat, cleaner edge |
| Hard bond | Holds diamond against hard sintered surface |
| Reinforced / silent core | Stable at speed, quieter, less vibration |
| Dedicated rating | Designed for Dekton / sintered, not general stone |
A:Short cuts only. Sintered surfaces glaze granite blades quickly; a dedicated blade is much safer.
A:No — a standard stone saw or bridge saw with the right blade and water works well.
A:Usually the bond is too soft or the RPM too low — the blade rubs instead of cutting. Check both.
Invest in a blade made for sintered surfaces. The Dekton Saw Blade (Thickened Segment) — JOY-DK-TS with thickened segments, the Dekton Saw Blade (Silent Core) — JOY-DK-SC silent core or the Dekton Saw Blade (Normal Core) — JOY-DK-NC normal core cover Dekton cutting needs.
